Mooseheads defeat Sags 4-1 on the road

CHICOUTIMI, QUE. – The Halifax Mooseheads win on the road, defeating the Chicoutimi Saguenéens 4-1 on Friday night.
The Mooseheads opened up scoring with Connor Moynihan netting his 16th of the season at 7:48 of the first period.
It wasn’t long before Mathieu Desgagnés tied things up, making the score 1-1 at the end of the first period.
Halifax shut out the Saguenéens is the second period, with Joel Bishop, Maxime Fortier and Benoit-Olivier Groulx all lighting the lamp, giving Halifax the 4-1 victory.
On Saturday, Halifax’s road trip continues when they visit the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
