RCMP investigate armed robbery in Lower Sackville

LOWER SACKVILLE – Halifax RCMP are investigating the armed robbery of a gas station in Lower Sackville on Tuesday night.
RCMP said officers were called to Wilson’s Gas Bar on Sackville Drive around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday after a report that a man had robbed the station and fled the scene on foot.
Police were not able to track the lone suspect down and he is described as a white man with a thin build, standing around 6 feet tall and wearing jeans and a dark hoodie.
The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
