Three men face first degree murder charges in Tylor McInnis homicide

HALIFAX -Three men are facing first degree murder among other charges in connection with the homicide of Tylor Donovan McInnis in North Preston in August.
Shawntez Neco Downey from North Preston, 24, Daniel Romeo Downey from North Preston, 18, and Nicco Alexander Smith from Cole Harbour, 25, all made their first appearance in Dartmouth Provincial Court on Wednesday morning.
Police also arrested and charged Judson Lemar Falls of North Preston, 34, and a 17-year-old boy from North Preston with accessory after the fact.
Police arrested three of the men just after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday after searching a home on Silistria Drive in Cole Harbour.
A fourth man was taken into custody on Willis Lane in North Preston, a male youth was arrested at a school in Cole Harbour.
McInnis was found dead in the trunk of a black Honda Civic at the St. Thomas Baptist Church on Upper Governor Street in North Preston on Aug. 23 by officers responding to a report of a stolen car.
Police have not disclosed how he was killed.
RCMP will hold a media update this afternoon at Halifax Regional Police Headquarters.
