Halifax police make arrest after stabbing sends man to hospital

HALIFAX – Police in Nova Scotia say one man is in custody after a stabbing in the Halifax area sent another man to hospital.

Halifax Regional Police say the incident took place early Saturday morning in Dartmouth.

Police say a 39-year-old man was treated in hospital and later released.

Sgt. Kevin Murphy says a 20-year-old man faces multiple assault charges and remains in custody.

Murphy says the two men are known to each other.

Hopefully the 20-year old ends up in jail….he’ll be popular there and will get proper punishment for his criminal ways.
