Vehicle-pedestrian collisions down in March

Halifax police say there were 12 vehicle-pedestrian collisions in March – down from 22 in March of 2014.
Ten of the incidents took place in Regional Police jurisdiction, with the other two in RCMP territory.
Police say so far this year, about half of reported vehicle-pedestrian collisions took place in crosswalks.
Of the 50 pedestrians involved, 2 were killed.
