Reported drive-by shooting in north-end Halifax

Regional Police are investigating a report of an apparent drive-by shooting in north-end Halifax.
The call came in at 7:30 this morning from the intersection of Cunard and Maynard Streets.
A witness reported seeing someone in a car fire a number of shots at a pedestrian walking on Maynard.
The car is described as a black four-door sedan with its rear window tinted.
The pedestrian was a black man wearing a reflective traffic vest.
Neither the vehicle nor the pedestrian has been located.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
