A 17-year-old boy was arrested after a loaded gun was found at Charles P. Allen High School in Bedford Thursday morning.
Following an anonymous tip, police went to the school, told administration what they’d heard, and identified a potential suspect.
Police pulled the boy into the office and found a sawed-off rifle and a knife in his backpack, and arrested him at about noon.
He’s in custody being interviewed.
Police say there’s no evidence to suggest the boy had any intent to use the weapons, but charges are expected.
