Police investigating after man allegedly stabbed during fight in Halifax

HALIFAX – Police in Halifax say a 20-year-old man claims he was stabbed early Sunday morning after trying to break up a fight.

Police say the victim showed up at a hospital in Dartmouth with a stab wound around 3:15 a.m.

The man told police he was stabbed after trying to break up a fight between two other people near Portland Street and Alderney Landing.

His injuries are not life-threatening.

Police are searching for suspects.
