Woman struck by car in marked crosswalk

A 60-year-old woman was struck in a marked crosswalk last night in Halifax.
Police say around 7:30p.m. the woman was crossing where Dunbrack meets Main Avenue when she was hit.
She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 48-year-old woman driving the car has been ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
