City officials are warning drivers to expect more traffic in downtown Halifax on Wednesday as participants roll in for an event called We Day.
Thousands of students, many arriving by bus, will be heading for the Metro Centre. The backups might peak around 8 a.m. as buses drop the kids off on streets surrounding the arena.
HRM says motorists should expect delays.
The lineup for We Day Atlantic Canada includes former Governor General Michaelle Jean, musicians Classified, Hedley and Shawn Desman, and actor and activist Martin Sheen.
