The Dartmouth bridge terminal is sporting six new historic panels.
Three panels are dedicated to transit history and three more to the growth of the Dartmouth Common.
Historian Don Artz says the transit history panels are a good reflection of the evolution of transit in the city.
“These panels fully display the history of transportation from, well, the 1860s,” said Artz.
“A lot of those photos are from the Dartmouth Heritage Museum collection,” said Holly Richardson from Real Estate and Land Management, referring to the pictures in the Dartmouth Common panels.
Metro Transit says the panels are a way to perserve and celebrate our transit history.
