Detectives say a man who was confronted in his Dartmouth by five people, including one with a gun, knew some of the invaders.
A 62-year-old man on Kennedy Drive responded to a knock at his door last night by yelling at the visitor to come on in.
It ended up being two women and three men, and one of the men was packing a handgun.
It was a fake, and the victim knew it. He struggled with the intruder and grabbed the pistol.
No one was hurt and the intruders ran off.
Police say it was not a random incident: the tenant knew the two women.
That helped police find and arrest one of them. There’s no word yet on charges.
