Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in accident

Police say a 68-year-old man suffered life threatening injuries when he was hit by a car in Dartmouth.
The man was crossing Victoria Road in a marked crosswalk when a driver turning onto Victoria from Albro Lake Road ran into him around 7 p.m. Sunday.
The victim was rushed to the QEII for with injuries described as “very serious.”
Police say a 60-year-old Dartmouth man has been given a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
