Haligonians love the Oval: CRA Survey

Just in case HRM council isn’t getting the message, there is a new poll confirming the Canada Games Skating Oval is a huge hit.
Corporate Research Associates President Don Mills says he hasn’t seen this level of support for anything in HRM in years.
“The vast majority support the continuation of the oval and it doesn’t really matter where you live in the municipality,” he says.
84 per cent either mostly or completely support keeping the Oval. Mills says this is a strong indication for city councillors to move ahead with plans to make the rink permanent.
Regional council is awaiting a staff report on what the future costs of the Oval will be.
