Memorial for local Mountie killed in Haiti quake

A memorial service will be held this afternoon in Halifax for RCMP Sgt. Mark Gallagher.
The former RCMP spokesman in the Maritimes was killed in the Haiti earthquake last month. Sgt. Gallgher was part of a UN mission training police officers
when the quake hit.
Sgt. Gallagher’s funeral was held last month in Woodstock, N.B.
Today’s service will be held at St. Agnes Church on Mumford Road at 2 p.m.
