Mooseheads win on the road, defeat Cape Breton 3-1

SYDNEY, N.S. – The Halifax Mooseheads win on the road, defeating the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 3-1 on Friday night.

Bradley Kennedy put Halifax on the board early with a power play goal at 8:43 of the first period.

Cape Breton tied things up in the second period with a power play goal from Pierre-Luc Dubois at 2:35.

Connor Moynihan scored a tie-breaker at 1:42 of the third period, with Arnaud Durandeau lighting the lamp shortly after, making the final score 3-1 Halifax.

Tomorrow night, the Herd will take on the Screaming Eagles at the Scotiabank Centre.
