Erin is the host of Maritime Morning Weekend Edition, airing in Halifax, Moncton and Saint John Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to noon.
Her life in the newsroom began in her early years, when she interned at Q107/TALK 640 in Toronto. Through university, she interned at CJAD in Montreal, covering the 2006 Federal Election and handling overnight newscasts. A few years later, acting as morning news and co-host, she was part of the team that launched the #1 station in North Bay, Ontario, The Moose 106.3 FM.
From there, the road brought her to Halifax, where Erin now acts as Afternoon News Anchor on News 95.7 and host of Maritime Morning Weekend Edition.
Erin has won the National Dave Rogers RTNDA Award for short feature documentary. She holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from the University of Toronto, Saint Michael’s College and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario.
In her spare time, Erin likes to sink her teeth into a great novel, bake and be a tourist in her own town.
