Five people are being invested this morning into the Order of Nova Scotia, two of them posthumously.

The two posthumous members of the order are former newspaper publisher Graham Dennis and historian Robert Morgan.
Writer Silver Donald Cameron, former N-D-P leader Alexa McDonough and human rights advocate Bridglal Pachai are also being invested into the order.

In addition to broadcasting and writing, Cameron is also being recognized for his environmental work.
Pachai has served as director of the International Education Centre at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax and was executive director of the human rights commission.
