Major Common concert announcement coming this week

The next big act to play the Common will be revealed this week.
Power Promotions’ Harold MacKay says Thursday is the day his company will release the name of the artist coming to Halifax for the summer concert season.
MacKay’s company is responsible for bringing the likes of Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones and KISS to the Common in past years.
Country super-star Alan Jackson is also scheduled to play a summer country music event this year.
Reports last week suggested the new event is a two-day concert featuring the Black Eyed Peas, but MacKay tells Metro Halifax he can’t drop any hints before Thursday.
He promises the soon-to-be revealed event will be a “big one.”
