Moncton man faces charges in connection with armed robberies at various banks

MONCTON — A Moncton, New Brunswick, man has been charged in connection with four armed robberies at various banks in the city.

Forty-nine-year-old Terry Dean Leger was arrested on Thursday near a bank on Cornhill Street.

The charges stem from R-C-M-P investigations into robberies that took place on August 15th at the Advance Savings Credit Union on St. George Street, and September 6th and 21st at the UNI Bank on St. George Street.

A charge was also laid in connection with a robbery on September 11th at the Advance Savings Credit Union on Weldon Street.
