53-year-old man charged in road rage incident on Highway 107

DARTMOUTH – Halifax RCMP have charged a 53-year-old man after what they’re calling a road rage incident in Dartmouth during Monday’s afternoon rush hour.

RCMP were called to a collision on Highway 107 at Exit 14 just after 4:30 p.m. Monday, in which police said a man’s vehicle struck a barricade before he got out of the car and jumped on the hood of another vehicle.

Police said the man threatened the driver of the car and tried to break its windows.

The man was arrested without incident and is charged with mischief and uttering threats. He was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.

The 45-year-old woman driving the other car was not hurt and police said the investigation is ongoing.
