Dartmouth woman identified as HRM’s first homicide of 2017

DARTMOUTH – Nova Scotia’s Medical Examiner has ruled Thursday’s suspicious death of a Dartmouth woman as Halifax Regional Municipality’s first homicide of 2017.

Lori Katherine Jollimore, 58, was found dead inside a home on Farquharson Street around 1 p.m. Thursday after a 911 call.

Regional Police spokesperson Cst. Dianne Penfound said no suspects are in custody but the investigation in her death is ongoing.

“We have homicide members on scene as well as forensic identification officers who will be there until tomorrow processing the scene.”
