Police look to identify driver/vehicle in pedestrian hit and run

HALIFAX — Halifax District RCMP is looking to identify the driver or vehicle which the left the scene of an accident with a pedestrian on Saturday.
A 28-year-old man had to be taken to hospital with minor injuries after he was struck from behind by a car while attempting to cross Coleridge Court in Halifax over the noon hour Saturday.
The driver stopped, while a passenger in the car gave a telephone number to another person at the scene. The driver and passenger then left the scene.
Police say the driver is described as being a woman in her late 40’s with curly brown hair. The car is described as either a red Chevy Cobalt or Pontiac G-5 model.
