HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police say there was a break and enter early Sunday morning at Bridgeview Grocery on the Bedford Highway.
HRP says it responded to the store’s alarm system being set off around 3:10 a.m.
It says the inside of the store suffered damage and a quantity of cigarettes had been stolen.
According to the store’s Facebook page, it carries a “large range of items from milk and eggs to pop and chips and everything in between.’
HRP is asking anyone with information about the incident to call police or send an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
