Eastern Passage school recommendations released

The School Options Committee has released its plan for a number of schools in Eastern Passage.
According to Metro Halifax, the committee suggested that with a new high school coming to the area in the next few years, Grade 9 students would move from the Eastern Passage Education Centre, making room for that facility to handle students from Grade 6 through 8.
Tallahassee would be converted to a P-3 school only, along with Ocean View, while Seaside would be changed to Grade 4 and 5.
HRSB will review the report and consider the recommendations at their July 6th meeting.
