Two men rescued from Cape Split cliff

Two men from Truro had to be rescued by a Cormorant helicopter Saturday night

RCMP say the pair were rappelling down a cliff at Cape Split when they became stranded.

They were helped down to the beach by a high angle rescue team climber, where the helicopter picked them up and brought them to safety.

Police say both men, 27 and 29, were treated by EHS and released.
