Man stabbed during break and enter in Halifax

HALIFAX – Police are investigating after a man was stabbed during a break and enter early Sunday morning in Halifax.
At about 12:20 a.m. police responded to a residence on Old Sambro Road where a 48-year-old man had been stabbed.
The victim and two other men were in the residence when three men with their faces covered entered and tried to rob them. One of the suspects got into a struggle with the victim, and he was stabbed several times.
Police said he was transported to QE II with non life-threatening injuries.
Members of the Forensic Identification Section and Integrated General Investigation Section are continuing the investigation.
