Man arrested after last week’s cell phone robbery and assault

Halifax Regional Police have arrested a suspect after a man was robbed at knife point in Clayton Park.
At 8:30 p.m. on Thursday April 28th, a 21-year-old man was supposed to sell a cell phone to someone near the intersection of Thomas Raddall Drive and Lacewood Drive.
The arrangement had been made through social media.
Instead, he was robbed and cut on his hand with a knife, he was treated at the scene by EHS.
While searching for the suspect, police say they have found several stolen phones.
On Saturday April 30th, police arrested a 24-year-old Dartmouth man on Princess Margaret Boulevard
He will appear in court today on charges of robbery with a weapon, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
