Two Mooseheads make NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings

Two Halifax Mooseheads could feature prominently in this year’s NHL Entry Draft.
NHL Central Scouting has released its final list of the top draft eligible North American skaters and Moose forward Otto Somppi is in the 78th position overall.
The end of the season ranking drops Somppi 31 spots from the 47th position he occupied mid-season.
Also on the list, Maxime Fortier who remains in the 145th spot.
Topping the list is Cape Breton’s Pierre-Luc Dubois who is expected to be a first round pick, but not first overall.
That spot will likely go to Auston Matthews, an American-born centre currently playing in Switzerland.
The NHL draft is scheduled for June 24th in Buffalo.
