RCMP investigate Lower Sackville bank robbery

HALIFAX – Halifax RCMP are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday morning in Lower Sackville.
Police say at approximately 11:50 a.m. they responded to a robbery at the Scotiabank on Sackville Drive, where a man entered the business demanding money, and fled shortly after on foot.
Police say they combed the area, but were unable to find him.
The suspect is described as a middle aged man, wearing a dark coloured toque, beige overalls, a hoodie, and glove.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have information on this crime to contact Halifax District RCMP or Halifax Regional Police.
