Gas prices remain unchanged

No change at the gas pump in Nova Scotia this week.

The provincial regulator has decided to leave the minimum price for regular self-serve at 88.3 for a second week in a row.

The news is not the same for those needing diesel, fuel prices climbed by 5.1 cents at midnight, moving the minimum price to 90.4.

One year ago we were paying 91 cents for a litre of gas and 1.05 for diesel.  Oil was trading on the markets at $49.01 U.S., just over $17 more than yesterday’s closing price of $31.60.
