No change expected in price of gas this week

HALIFAX – There’s no change expected in the price of gas in Nova Scotia this week.

News 95.7 predicts when prices are adjusted at midnight Thursday, they’ll remain at 88.3 c/L for a second straight week.

George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices tells News 95.7 he believes the markets are showing a drop in price coming next week.

“The way spot prices are performing…you’re going to be looking at two cents down for next week,” Murphy said.

Across the border in New Brunswick, prices increased by a half-cent overnight, moving the maximum price up to 93.1 c/L.
