A 21-year-old woman was robbed of cash at a TD ATM on Quinpool Road just two hours later, when a man threatened to stab her if she didn’t give him money. No knife was seen during the incident but the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Just before 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 7, a male suspect entered the Needs Convenience Store on Chebucto Rd. and demanded money from the clerk. He told the employee he had a weapon but none was seen, and he fled the store with an unknown quantity of cash.

Police said the man is also being charged for a separate incident involving a robbery at a Scotiabank ATM.
