Mooseheads Cavan Fitzgerald signs with San Jose

A Halifax Mooseheads defenceman has signed a three-year-entry contract with San Jose.
Cavan Fitzgerald was invited to the Sharks training camp last month as an undrafted free agent.
The 19-year-old is in his second full season with the Mooseheads, in that time he’s scored 8 goals and has 29 assists in the 50 regular season games he’s played with the club.
The Mooseheads play at Scotiabank Centre Thursday night against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, that game can be heard on NEWS957.com.
On Friday the Herd face-off on home ice against Victoriaville, that game will be carried live on NEWS 95.7.
