Woman rushed to hospital after being stabbed multiple times

HALIFAX – A 24-year-old woman is in serious condition in hospital after being stabbed multiple times on Windsor Street on Sunday night.

Police were called to a home at 3411 Windsor St. near Hood Street just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday, where they found a woman suffering from a number of stab wounds.

She was taken to hospital and remains in serious but stable condition.

Officers along with a K-9 team searched the area, and eventually arrested a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman on Robie Street near Spring Garden Road, and took them in for questioning.

Police haven’t laid charges, but said their investigation is continuing.
