Gas could drop again at midnight

Nova Scotians got an early gas price change this week as the UARB used the interrupter clause to drop the price of regular self-serve by just over 5 cents a litre.

Now George Murphy with Consumers for Fair Gas Prices tells NEWS 95.7, there’s still a downward trend for gasoline and it’s possible it could go drop another cent or two at midnight.

Murphy expects the price of diesel will also go down.

Gas prices are down a whopping 6.2 cents in New Brunswick, with the new maximum price across the border at 107.1.
