Halifax RCMP officer in court on sex assault charge

HALIFAX – A Halifax RCMP officer will be in court on Tuesday accused of inappropriately touching a female member of the force during a spring meeting.
Sgt. Kenneth James Taker, 47, has been charged with sexual assault by the provinces Serious Incident Response Team.
Taker is accused of touching a female Mountie during a three-day meeting at White Point Beach Lodge in Queen’s County in March.
