Police looking for armed man who tried to rob restaurant

HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police are looking for a man with a gun who tried to rob a restuarant on Lady Hammond Road Thursday night.
Police said a masked man entered Metro Pizza just after 11 p.m. Thursday with a gun, but eventually left the store empty-handed.
No employees at the restaurant were hurt.
The suspect is described as between 5’5” and 5’8” tall, with a medium build.
He was wearing grey jogging pants and a black hoodie.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
