Police charge 17-year-old for assault with ‘irritant’

HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police say a 17-year-old boy is facing charges after spraying two 15-year-olds with an irritant near Rocky Lake Drive early Wednesday morning.
Police didn’t say what the irritant was, and say the three boys knew each other.
The 17-year-old is facing two charges of assault with a weapon, as well as breach of conditions and probation.
