Nova Scotia Open tees off Thursday

FALL RIVER – The first round of the Nova Scotia opens tees off on Thursday morning at the Ashburn Golf Club in Fall River.

The gates for the only Canadian event on the Web.com Tour open at 6:30 a.m., with golfers beginning to tee of at 6:50 a.m.

The RBC Canada Cup, featuring a number of past of present PGA players, will be held Monday at Ashburn.

Mike Weir, Graham Delaet AND David Hearn will lead Team Canada while 65-year-old Tom Watson lead the world team.

For rounds one and two of the Nova Scotia open, gates will open at 6:30 a.m., while rounds three and four on Saturday and Sunday will see gates open at 7 a.m.

Gates for the RBC Canada Cup will open at 9:15 a.m. on Monday.
