RCMP looking for Cole Harbour vandals

Nova Scotia RCMP are looking for vandals who spray painted what they call a “male body part” on two cars in Cole Harbour, and streaks of paint on 13 others.

Police were called to Castlewood Drive at about 8:30 Sunday morning where an “indecent image” had been spray-painted on a vehicle. On the way there, the police officer noticed several other vehicles on Castlewood, Autumn Place and Auburn Drive had been painted as well.

Most of those vehicles — and a garage — just had a line drawn on them, but Cpl. Greg Church says others were painted with the same graphic indecent image.

“It was an image of a male body part,” Church said Monday.

Church says there are no leads in the case so far, but he hopes the colour of the paint could help someone identify the suspects.

“We do know that the culprits used orange and brown spray paint to do their damages,” he said.

The crimes happened sometime after midnight.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
