Gas goes up again

The price of gas in Nova Scotia has gone up again.

Provincially regulated prices jumped by 1.7 cents at midnight, moving the minimum price up to 116.2.

There was no change this week in the price of diesel, prices remain steady at 108.8.

One year ago we were paying 1.36 for gasoline, 1.33 for diesel.

Oil was trading on the markets at $95.90 U.S. per barrel, that’s just over $35 more than yesterday’s closing price of $60.74.
