Man, 20, dies of injuries from car accident

Police say a 20-year-old man who was injured in a single-vehicle crash last week has died.

The RCMP say the crash on Pomquet River Road in Antigonish County happened early in the morning of May 4 when the driver lost control and the vehicle flipped on a turn.

The man driving the vehicle and a 21-year-old woman who was a passenger were ejected from it.

The Mounties say the man from Guysborough County was airlifted to a hospital in Halifax and he died on Saturday.

The woman from Antigonish County was treated at Saint Martha’s Regional Hospital and released.
