Police in Brandon, Manitoba have arrested a 72-year-old man on a Canada-wide warrant issued by Halifax RCMP.
The man was arrested yesterday at his home in Brandon, roughly 200 km west of Winnipeg, and is being held at the local jail.
Brandon Police Sergeant Kevin McLean says he’s due in court Friday to face numerous potential charges.
“The warrant is for sexual interference, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, and invitation to sexual touching,” said McLean.
He says Brandon Police will request a six-day remand so Halifax Police can bring the man back to Nova Scotia.
