Barechested prowler spooks Halifax couple

Regional Police are investigating a break-and-enter in Halifax’s south end.

It happened yesterday morning in a rooming house on South Street, when a man and a woman awoke to find another man standing in their room in his underwear.

They asked the man to leave the room and he did, but stayed in the common area for over an hour, occasionally trying the bedroom door.

The couple reported the incident to police later in the day.

No one was hurt in the incident, and nothing was taken.

The suspect is described as a thin white man in his 20s with should-length hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
