Mooseheads fall in overtime

The Halifax Mooseheads were defeated by the Shawinigan Cataractes 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday night at the Halifax Forum. Shawinigan is now leading the series 2-1.
The Mooseheads had an early 2-0 lead with goals from Timo Meier and Danny Moynihan. Midway through the second, Shawinigan came back and scored two goals to tie the game. The game remained tied at two throughout the third period to force overtime.
Cataractes forward Dennis Yan scored the game-winning goal at the 10:48 minute mark in overtime to give Shawinigan the win.
Game 4 of the best-of-seven series gets underway on at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1 at the Halifax Forum.
