Price of gas up in Nova Scotia

There’s a small increase in the price of gasoline this morning.

The provincial regulator used its weekly adjustment to raise the price of regular self-service by 1.4 cents per litre to a new minimum price of 106.5.

The downward trend in diesel prices continued overnight as the price for fuel fell by 2.5 cents, which moves the minimum price for fuel down to 105.8.

One year ago, we were paying $1.35 for gasoline and $1.43 for diesel.

Oil was trading on the markets at $92.84 U.S. per barrel, that is about $42 per barrel more than yesterday’s closing price.
