The Chronicle Herald says it has reached a tentative agreement with the union representing 13 pressroom workers.
The Herald’s president and CEO said he’s pleased with the outcome, which provides significant long term cost savings while maintaining current compensation levels for the term of the agreement.
A vote on the agreement will likely take place this weekend, and it’s expected workers could return to work as early as Monday.
