Gas up again in Nova Scotia

For a second week in a row, gasoline prices have gone up in Nova Scotia.

The provincial regulator used its weekly adjustment to raise the minimum price per litre by 2.1 cent to 93.4.

Bad news for those needing diesel as well, after a couple of weeks of stable prices, the minimum price for fuel jumped by 2.7 cents at midnight to 105.3.

One year ago, drivers were paying 1.32 for gasoline and 1.44 for diesel.

Oil was trading at $97.66 U.S. per barrel, just over $53 more than yesterday’s closing price of $44.49.
