Murdered woman’s parents to speak today

The parents of Catie Miller are expected to hold a news conference on Wednesday morning.

John and Terry Miller tell Metro Halifax they will be speaking about the case at 11:00 a.m.

Their daughter, Catie, was reported missing on July 21st, and over the weekend police ruled her death a homicide and arrested 29-year-old Jason James Johnson.

He is facing charges of first degree murder and indecently interfering with a human body.

According to court records, Miller was killed in Hants County, and her body was “interfered” with in the Halifax-area.

The accused is due back in court on February 3rd, 2015.
